For anywhere with a screen and someone in front of it
Your screens.Your words.Your people.
Zervys turns the tablets, TVs and phones you already have into one system. Show what you want, give people a
way to ask for what they need, and change it all from your phone with one press.
Pick something close, or start from nothing. Change the words, press publish, then press a button on the
screen and see where it goes. What you write is yours. The tabs say Specials and Menu at every place today:
those are a restaurant’s words, and your dashboard uses them too.

Answer it on the staff screen, and watch the screen.
What it does
A few simple pieces. Put them together however you like.
Zervys doesn’t decide what you are. It gives you the pieces, and you decide what they’re for.
The screens you already own
Recent tablets, phones and computers, and Samsung and LG TVs from 2020 or newer, run it in their web browser. Open an address, enter the code it shows in your dashboard, and it joins in, with nothing to wire and no visit from IT. A TV’s browser doesn’t come back by itself: after a power cut, someone has to open Zervys on it again, and an LG may put its screensaver over the page. An older TV, or one with no web browser such as a Roku, needs a Google TV stick plugged into it, and the Zervys app, left on at your place as its hub, to put Zervys on it. The hub puts it back after a power cut. We’re still trying that.
PublishEvery screen
Change it once, and it’s everywhere
Edits wait until you press publish, so nobody ever sees a half-finished change. Then every screen that’s on updates within seconds.
A list for anything
Menus, price lists, tap lists, services. Names, photos and notes, with a price or without one.
Run out? Say so.
Mark something as gone and every screen knows straight away, with nothing to publish. It comes back by itself the next morning.
Offers that run themselves
Choose the days and hours. It starts and stops on its own, and part of your list can come and go by the hour too.
Buttons in your own words
Up to four on every table screen. Call server, Lane help, Ready to pay: whatever people here actually ask for.
Requests in one place
Every request lands on a staff screen that’s open and awake, with how long they’ve waited. One tap says you’re on the way. There’s no phone alert yet, and a phone asleep shows nothing until it wakes, so a tablet left on is the surest.
Boards and loops for your TVs
Everything you offer as a board, in four layouts, or a loop of what’s on today. It changes when everything else does.
Codes people can scan
On the Scan tab of a table screen: your whole list on their own phone, a place to leave a review, a way to join your list. Nothing to download.
See what catches the eye
What gets opened, when you’re busiest and what people ask for. No names and no sign-ins.
Your look, everywhere
Your logo and colours on every screen, with themes and layouts to make it feel like your place.
Your room, drawn
Lay out your space, number every spot and group them into sections, so everyone sees the same room.
Everyone signs in as themselves
Owners, managers and staff each get what they need, and changes are recorded under who made them.
It keeps going
If the internet drops, your screens keep showing the last thing they had and catch up on their own. A screen restarted while it’s down can’t load until it’s back, and may need reloading by hand.
Your TVs on a schedule Coming
Your TVs on before you open and off when you close, on a schedule or from one button. We’re trying this now with the Zervys app, and not every kind of TV can do it yet.
Run it from anywhere
From your phone on the floor or a computer in the office, and set things up ahead of time.
Help when you’re stuck
A step-by-step guide built in, and a real person at Zervys when the guide isn’t enough.
Think about your place
Five questions worth a minute.
What do people ask you ten times a day?
Put the answer on a screen, and get those minutes back.
Where do people wait?
That’s the best place you have to tell them something.
Who needs help, but won’t wave?
Give them a button. Most people would rather press one than flag someone down.
What would you change today, if it only took a second?
Prices, what’s out, what’s on tonight. Now it takes one press.
What do you wish more people noticed?
Put it where they’re already looking, and see if they tap.
Ideas
Same pieces. Very different places.
A few to get you started. The best ones usually come from someone who knows their place better than we do.

Questions
What people ask first.
Is Zervys only for restaurants?
No, but it still talks like one. We started in restaurants, so today the screens say Specials and Menu, and
your dashboard says dish and table, whatever you sell. Your names, lists, offers and buttons are in your own
words. If you have screens and people in front of them, tell us what you have in mind and we’ll tell you
honestly how well it fits today.
Do I need to buy new screens?
Maybe not. Recent tablets, phones and computers, and Samsung and LG TVs from 2020 or newer, run Zervys in
their web browser.
Tell us what you have, and we’ll go through it with you.
Can people order or pay on it?
No. Zervys shows what you have and brings someone over. Orders and payment stay with your people and your
till, the way they are now.
What if the Wi-Fi or internet goes down?
Your screens keep showing the last thing they had and catch up on their own once you’re back online. A
screen restarted while it’s down can’t load until it’s back, and may need reloading by hand.
Pressing a button does need the connection: while it’s down, the screen says the request didn’t go through,
so they know to ask someone.
How do I change what’s on the screens?
Sign in on your phone or a computer, make your changes and press publish. Your list and offers wait until
you do, so a half-finished edit never shows. Marking something as gone goes out straight away, and so does
a new look for your screens, when you apply it.
Do people need an app?
No. The screen’s already there, and the codes open with a phone’s camera.
What do you collect about the people using it?
What’s tapped, when, and on which screen. There’s no sign-in and nothing to type, so no names, emails or
payment details are ever collected. To count a phone opening your list once, its address is scrambled and
held in memory for 15 minutes. It’s never saved.
